DRN (Downtown Residential Neighborhood) MEMO Greenville architect Jim Townsend was editor and publisher of the MEMO, discontinued with its November 2000 issue, after nine years. Those of us who have the newsletters own a record of downtown goings on during the very busy development during the 1990s. That's quite a browse, Jim, thank you (now living in Orangeburg SC).

Meanwhile, this webpage carries on as a tip of the hat to Jim, and to hold a place online in case Jim wants to add something new. Thanks, Jim, that was a great nine year run and we know it was a heap of work and devotion. Nine years -- wow.
